More results for measurements of the membrane potentials of protoplasts
Effects of Ca and K ions on the membrane potential of protoplasts and their intact cells were compared. As seen in these figures, we convinced that the membrane potential of protoplasts of Nitella is as negative as their intact cells in most of conditions, and that the membrane potential of protoplasts are more sensitive to Ca ions.
